Winifred Nolan
Winifred Nolan is a Consultant Ophthalmologist on the Glaucoma service at Moorfields Eye Hospital and honorary senior lecturer at the International Centre for Eye Health, London.
Fellowship training was completed at Moorfields and in Singapore and she spent three years as a consultant in Birmingham prior to taking up this current post in 2010.
Clinical interests include diagnosis and treatment of Primary angle closure glaucoma and management of secondary and complex glaucoma cases.
Winnie completed an MD thesis at the Insitute of Ophthalmology composed of research into angle closure in Asia. Her research interests now focus on prevention of glaucoma blindness in low income populations in Africa.
